Artist Statement: This piece is about line and color and how they affect each other. I was discovering what happens when I run lines and colors in both directions. Fabric was cut freehand, purposely creating gentle curves. The very light and extra dark colors make the piece sparkle. The piecing seemed relentless, thus the name.

Dimensions: 27" wide x 34" high

Materials and Techniques: I used all hand-dyed cotton fabrics. It is machined-pieced and machine-quilted using variegated threads.
