Artist Statement: The lush green of early foliage; the feel of grass under my bare feet; the fullness of trees and the forest understory. The cool feel of blue water; the playful music of perennial streams. The heat of the sun warming my body to the core. These sensual pleasures of summer take me willingly into fall and sustain me through the rainy, gray winter.
