Artist Statement: This is the final work of a long series celebrating the beauty of  a path through second growth forest near my home in Bellevue. The work reflects natures’ cycles of growth, blossoming decay and regrowth.

Materials & Techniques: Black cotton, decolored with bleach,  blue printed , toned and enhanced with artists pens.  Heavily quilted.
