Artist Statement: Second in my series on the Moulin Rouge, this piece captures the electric movement of the blades of the windmill, moving it from the literal to the abstract interpretation.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial 100% cotton fabrics, found objects, machine pieced and freehand machine quilted.
