Artist Statement: My art is usually representational, based on photos I've taken while hiking and backpacking. I love to try and recreate what I've seen using the textures created by fabric, batting, and thread.

Materials & Techniques: Designed from an original photo taken in New Mexico. Whole cloth painted with thickened dyes. Quilted and thread painted using rayon threads.
