Artist Statement: Inspired by a commercial fabric by Yoshiko Jinzenji I created a 9-patch of her motifs and then morphed these into close-up with her pallet. Materials & Techniques: Commercial and hand dyed cotton fabrics, cotton batting. Machine pieced and quilted. The pieces are framed, under glass.
