Artist Statement: This quilt is based on a grid found in a Shoji door. The quilt combines images from Japanese Internment Camps and poetry which captures the story behind each image. It is the tenth quilt in a series of 20 quilts. The poetry is written by Margaret Chula. Materials & Techniques: Piecing, photo transfer work, micro quilting.
