Artist Statement: Clematis are such showy, cheery flowers, reaching for the sun. I am envious of all who can grow them. I chose to make an everlasting display, both realistic and imaginary, to enjoy the year round. Leaves and flower petals are wired for easy manipulation. The trellis is muted, heavily loaded with flowers. The stems trail off, an uninteresting part of the plant.
