Artist Statement: This quilt celebrates the end of summer and the first snowfall in a place where the mountains and trees are tall. The last few leaves are falling with the snow.

Materials & Techniques: Rayon, cotton, batik, commercial and hand-dyed fabric, tulle. Raw edged and fused appliqué.
