Artist Statement: The collared lizard comes from the SW United States and can reach a foot in length. It can run on its hind legs and is a relatively fast sprinter.

Materials & Techniques: Fabrics hand-dyed by artist, polyester thread. Machine collaged and pieced; machine quilted; hand appliqué.
