Artist Statement: At feeding time, my 25 koi come to the surface of the pond in a swirl of color. Their movement is random and yet the graceful flow appears as if it has been choreographed.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton and sheer fabric, felt, machine and hand embroidery, paint and various yarns. Layers of fabric—painted, fused and stitched together.
