Artist Statement: Walking in southern Utah, one sees the red rocks contrast with the sandstone and the dark but vibrant lichens growing on the rocks. Every turn taken along the path provides another inspiration.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed cotton fabric, cotton batting and thread. Machine pieced and quilted.
