Artist Statement: The elusive green flash is a mirage seen as the last part of the sun sinks below a distant horizon. Best viewed overlooking the ocean, on extremely clear days at sunset, it lasts only a second or two.

Materials and Techniques: Cotton fabric, printed and dyed by the artist, machine stitched.
