Artist Statement: I was inspired by a grape arbor at our old family home. I wanted to bring the grape vine arbor to ‘life’ by using three dimensional appliqué.

Materials and Techniques: The 2 sided leaves are actual leaves from the vine that were scanned into the computer, printed on fabric & free-motion quilted.  Hand felted bunches of wool grapes hang off the old twisted vines which wrap around the hand overpainted arbor.
