Artist Statement: Challenged by a friend to create a quilt with a waterfall, I decided to turn to a master for inspiration. A wood cut by Japanes artist Hiroshige was the model for this piece.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cottons, Angelina, cotton and acrylic threads. Raw edge applique, free motion embroidery and quilting, acrylic paint
