Artist Statement: The Precipitation Series was inspired by observing the changes in light on water and snow out my back window during various seasons.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial batik and hand-dyed cottons, white sheeting, tulle, stretch synthetic fabric, reemay, interfacing, cotton & metallic thread, machine applique and quilting.
