Artist Statement:I love the  colors and the red and gold glow of leaves in the forests of Washington. This quilt is based on a photograph I took at Lake Cushman in October of 2008.

Materials & Techniques: Rayon, cotton, batik, commercial and hand dyed tulle. Raw edge and fused appliqué.
