Artist Statement: The concept of imagery comes from the natural world, and comes in part from a quote from Henry Thoreau: "From the forests and wilderness come the tonics and barks which brace mankind."
Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed cotton, silk dupioni, dye sticks, textile paint. French knots, rubbed, silk screened, machine pieced, hand appliqued, embroidered, hand quilted.
