Artist Statement: Looking out at Puget Sound through the picture windows of my bedroom puts my mind in a special dimension. Viewing the mountains, water, and sunset through the geometric framework of wooden structures calms me, inspires my imagination and helps me think about the important things of life, like quilting.

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed cotton, hand painted/stamped fabrics. Machine applique, pieced and quilted.
