Artist Statement: Folklore from the indigenous people of northern Australia describes mimi-spirits as fairy-like beings so thin and elongated that they must hide in rock crevices during windy weather.
Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed and discharged cottons. Machine pieced and quilted.
