Artist Statement: Inspired by a trip to Canyon de Chelle in Arizona where marks from water dripping down the canyon walls looked like stick figures dancing. This piece was the inspiration for the Sticks series.

Materials & Techniques: Fabric hand-dyed by the artist, machine quilted to represent a topographical map of Canyon de Chelle.
