Artist Statement: Water shapes the world we live in as it flows out to sea, is taken up into the atmosphere and returned to the earth as rain. A cirque is represented by some of the topographic lines, showing where water was once imprisoned as ice.
Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed cotton and pearl cotton; marbled cotton. Fused and hand-quilted.
