Artist Statement: These small, delicate creatures are a delight to discover in Pacific Coast tide pools. Painted silk organza was used to suggest the anemone's transparent tentacles.

Materials & Techniques: Raw-edge appliqué, free-motion machine quilting, couched yarns, hand-painted silk organza.
