Artist Statement: Inspired by a visit to hill towns in Portugal, I used my photographs to create a memory of what travel has opened up for me.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial printed and dyed cottons, cotton thread, permanent ink, pieced, raw edge applique, drawing, quillted.
