Artist Statement: I have taken hundreds of photos of the colors and textures in Yellowstone Park. I challenge myself to create artwork that conveys my impressions of the other-worldly beauty I have experiences there. Materials & Techniques: Wholecloth quilt, "shibori" dyed, appliquéd with melted and hand-colored lutradur, and hand-dyed cheesecloth.
