Artist Statement: As we age, experiencing some form of cancer is highly likely. But, when I found myself diagnosed with breast cancer, the life I knew fell apart into tiny little pieces, a day or an hour at the time. It takes courage and perseverance to piece it back together.
Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed cottons. Freehand cutting, recutting and piecing it back together.
