Artist Statement: Hundreds of years ago the Inca people mysteriously disappeared from Machu Pichu. Walk up the steps to a door overlooking the summer palace with its agricultural terraces and religious buildings never plundered by the Spanish. Materials & Techniques: Commercial cotton and hand dyed cotton fabrics machine pieced. Hand and machine quilted.
