Artist Statement: Each spring, a vast amount of Siberian irises light up my garden
with striking splashes of vivid purples and blues. I could not resist
the temptation to transform these glorious blooms into a piece of
art to be enjoyed long after the irises bid their annual farewell. Materials & Techniques: Handpainted (by artist) and commercial cotton fabrics.
