Artist Statement: I have been working with patterns, colors and shapes unfamiliar to me. I want to continue to work with these and other surface design techniques. It makes me more accepting of the differences in these techniques.

Materials & Techniques: Sewing machine designs were made on folded black fabric. These were bleached taking out much of the black and leaving patterns. In places only a line remains.
