Artist Statement: "Flowers of Sickness” create a still life from my x-ray images, showing there is still life in my arthritic hands. Materials & Techniques: Cotton sateen, flannel batting, cotton backing, synthetics, metallic thread, beading. Self designed and digitally printed, pieced as whole cloth. Hand quilted and hand beaded.
