Artist Statement: The process of making my art quilts is a step into the future. I use computer technology to create original designs with bold geometric forms, then have them custom printed on to cloth. I then integrate fiber traditions like quilt stitches to create rich texture on the designs' surface as you would a whole-cloth-quilt. Materials & Techniques: The top is custom printed on organic cotton sateen. The center is filled with Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton batting, and the backing is organic cottons.
