Artist Statement: This valley outlook on American Trail overlooks Bumping River 38 miles west of Naches. I have a summer cabin there and my dogs and I hike this trail daily as I get my daily dose of "peace" viewing this tranquil scene.

Materials & Techniques: Fused commercial and hand-dyed cotton fabrics, machine quilted.
