Artist Statement: My art is usually representational, based on photos I've taken. This piece is from a close-up of a plant with blue-green leaves edged in fuchsia.

Materials & Techniques: Curved piecing pattern designed from personal photo. Machine pieced using commercial cottons. Some leaves edged with flat piping for additional dimension.
