Artist Statement: The SW desert colors are so influential. I riffed off some catci in a California meditation garden and plunked them in front of this canyon wall.

Materials & Techniques: Free form construction. Cotton fabric and clear polyester and cotton thread. Back and border is a cubist manipulation of my photo printed on cotton by Spoonflower. Free motion quilting by domestic machine.
