Artist Statement: Light, luminosity, and movement drive my piecework and fabric choices. The shattered, shimmering Winter light reflected off the step pyramid of Sakkara warms my Cascadian soul.

Materials & Techniques: Pieced cotton fabric, thread and couched embroidery floss. Machine pieced and quilted on a domestic sewing machine.
