Artist Statement: One is a series I call "Desconstruction". With each layer of surface design, which is done after the quilt has been constructed, a depth of richness and texture is added to the orginal,changing the work in unexpected and unusual ways.

Materials & Techniques: Solid color cotton fabrics which have been machine quilted then discharged, dyed and over-dyed, painted and screen-printed.
