Artist Statement: I was surprised when my son's Muslim fiancé who chooses to cover (wear a hijab or scarf over her hair) told me about applying for a job at Victoria's Secret. How many Western women have the erroneous and hidden misconception that Muslim women wouldn't enjoy shopping for and wearing lovely lingerie?

Materials & Techniques: Photo manipulation and printing on cotton fabric with sheer nylon fused on top. Machine and hand stitched.
