Artist Statement: The size of the massive chains that hold the ferry keep them tightly held and safe. Looking at the docks as the ferry moves out into the Puget Sound. Anticipating the wonder of nature I see before we arrive at the terminal on Bainbridge Island. Orca’s frolic in the wake of the ferry. The Ferry waiting for new passengers and vehicles to board and return to the dock to be embraced by the chains.
