Artist Statement: This design was inspired by fossils of prehistoric ammonites. To develop the line drawing, I studied many different ammonites and combined elements from several of them plus a few added flourishes from my imagination. 

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed, hand painted, drawing, digital printing, machine appliqued, machine pieced, machine quilted.
