Artist Statement: On a trip to Buenos Aired in 2017 I discovered the work of Argentinian painter Anselmo Piccoli. I was immediately taken by his painting "Equivalencias" (1975) and decided it was begging to be converted into a quilt. This piece is my first attempt to render his painting in fabric. 

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cottons; machine pieced and quilted.
