Artist Statement: This piece portrays a journey into the ancient past in an Irish passage tomb, where megalithic stones are lit only once a year at winter solstice. The mythic river goddess, Boinn, beckons the visitor to share the essence of ancient peoples in a place that represents birth and death--an adventurous path we all travel.
