Artist Statement: I painted bold shapes with a limited palette of red, yellow and blue on white silk fabric. Layering of the paint resulted in an expressive composition of colors, forms and textures.

Materials & Techniques: Silk fabric, paint, silk thread. Painted, machine pieced and free-motion quilted on a domestic sewing machine.
