Earth Twenty-Twenty by Geraldine WarnerArtist Statement: This vessel represents the interconnectedness of the various regions of the world and the serious threats the earth as a whole is facing, from global warming to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Materials & Techniques: I hand pieced the vessel from hand-dyed silk fabric and quilted it on my domestic sewing machine. I embellished it with heated and painted Lutradur and hand-beading.
