Artist Statement: Shades of green, blue and yellow, all mottled together within a yard piece of hand dyed cotton by Judy Robertson was the starting point for this exercise in Transparency. Adding stitching for texture, the daisy with handmade stencils and French knots gives the piece elegant sophistication and happy feel.

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed cotton, all from a one-yard piece. Soft-curved construction with customized pattern, custom Stencil, Artist’s Oil Pastels, French knots. Machine Pieced & quilted.
