Artist Statement: Quilt #6 in my Full Moon series explores making my own marked and dyed fabrics to use in my quilts. Snow Moon has 95% hand dyed, or hand painted fabrics in it and delves into the abstract.

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed Radiance (silk/cotton blend) was used for the background. Acrylic paint, permanent marking pens, hand dyed gradients, as well as a commercial hombre fabric. Each tile is individually hand cut, then machine stitched onto the Radiance.
