Reflections of Eldean #2 by Caryl Bryer Fallert-GentryArtist Statement: In the summer of 2013, we chartered a boat named Eldean and cruised through the San Juan islands. I was fascinated by the patterns of reflections in the water. The abstract image in this quilt came from a photo I took of a reflection of Eldean at the dock in Bellingham, Washington. Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabric, cotton/bamboo batting, acrylic and polyester thread, pencil, machine applique, machine embroidery, machine quilting.
