Artist Statement: The first collaboration between this painter and fiber artist, it was a journey to expand their artistic horizons. Misty Morning joins two pieces created independently: a reversible quilt created in 2002, a painting in 2017.  United in 2017 for a display dubbed "A Complementary Collaboration" at the Artist and Craftsman Supply in Tacoma, WA. Misty's journey has taken her to juried displays throughout the Puget Sound area and even to Brazil.

Materials & Techniques: Oil on canvas mounted on fiber art that is hand and machine quilted win embellished with machine needle lace sculpted trees.
