Artist Statement: Though we experience our lovely and mysterious heavenly companion, the moon, as a bright and glowing orb, the truth is, there abides there eternally shadowed places. True in life as well as nature, where there is light there will be shadows.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial, hand painted and stamped cotton fabric. Foil, specialty threads. Stamped, painted and foiled. Free motion and straight line quilting.
