Artist Statement: One Day, One Step, One Life is the sixth quilt in my "hidden word" series. I said these words out loud every morning for months during my life journey of recovery after a personal loss.

Materials & Techniques:  Commercial cotton ombre fabrics and cotton thread. Raw edge applique and then machine quilted on a traditional Bernina machine. In my design, I used a vectorizing app called "Imaengine" to modify a sign I had made with cut block paper letters.
