Artist Statement: The brightly-colored couple reflects joy.  Sometimes we get so serious about life that we forget to smile and see the goodness in the world. Working on a piece like this lets me just have fun and put down the cares of the world.  And I hope it also brings you joy. 

Materials & Techniques: Whole cloth quilt using thickened dye printing techniques including stenciling, scraping and silk screening. Appliqué. Machine and hand quilting. Printed cotton fabric, batting and thread. PRO MX Reactive Dyes.
